The West Side Rag is an online newspaper/blog that covers the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and it’s written by Upper West Siders. It often features interesting articles about dogs finding their 'furever' homes in that area.
We are delighted that' 'Squirt' (now Annabelle) from Potcake Place has featured in this community newspaper with her wonderful story.
"My parents have said that the experience of adopting Annabelle abroad was fairly simple. The organization Potcake Place Canine Rescue in Turks and Caicos – was very helpful to them regarding the paperwork, vaccination, and transportation aspects of bringing Annabelle back home. Often Caribbean islands tend to be so small and to have such a large adoptable dog population that they rely heavily on tourists and vacationers for adoptions. All that said, no matter where you find your perfect pup, you’ll know it’s meant to be!"
