Thank you for your interest in fostering puppies. We rely on volunteers to take puppies into their homes, care for them and administer any necessary medication.

At any time we have up to 50 puppies in foster homes across the island. We are always in desperate need of volunteers to open up their homes to unwanted stray potcake puppies.

If you live on Providenciales and feel that you can provide the love and attention that these puppies desperately need, please contact us. 

Importance of fosters

There is no animal shelter in the Turks and Caicos.  We look after these pups in our own homes until a permanent home can be found. Our policy is to house them for as long as it takes to find the best home. 

Foster families typically foster puppies that are not yet full vaccinated that need a little more care and attention. Foster puppies stays usually last 2-3 weeks.

Foster assistance

We provide all food, equipment, toys and veterinary care for the foster. 

You can foster single pups or multiples. 

All you have to do is give these very deserving pups some TLC! 

• We provide routine and emergency medical care

• We provide essential supplies, including food, toys, bedding, collars, leashes, crates, towels and pee pads  

• We provide helpful tips that can make the transition easy for everyone involved

• Our volunteers are always here to answer questions

Fostering saves lives

The important thing to remember is that fostering saves lives, and by letting your foster dog go to a forever home, you free up space for another dog in need. 

It is hard yet rewarding work. In time, the saying goodbye part gets easier.
