These siblings are adorable. Two sisters and five brothers were in the litter. They are approx 5-6 weeks old now. They are eating puppy food and are full of life. Now they need a family to love. Meet the two girls: Lizzie
and Lottie
UPDATE: All of these pups now have GREAT homes. Lizzie has gone off to a fantastic new home in the Boston area. Thank you Laura and Steve. You can read all about how Lizzie, now called The Lizard is growing up, by going to www.provobums.com/gallery/THE-LIZARD-ROSE
Lottie is now living the good life in Charlotte thanks to a wonderful staff member from US Airways who offered to carry her to her new home. One of the brothers in this litter, Provo, now in a loving home:

Another adorable brother, Sean.

They tell us that it was raining for quite a few days, so they went out and bought Sean a new Raincoat!!!! We just love it! Sean's adoption was made possible because a wonderful employee of American Airlines and his wife carried him to his new owner. Not only have these amazing people helped Sean but many other potcakes too. On behalf of all potcakes...We Thank you.
Sean is now in a wonderful home outside of Boston, he now has a great new big sister, a golden retriever named Emily. Sean's new mother says "He is a wonderful, affectionate, gentle little boy. We are head over heels in love with him! Everyone who meets him adores him as well. He is the sweetest, most sensitive, playful yet mellow chap. He adores his big sister Emily, our Golden. They carry on truly as siblings. She is the bossy older sister--he will put up with her to an extent, then steal something of hers and go hide under the bed where she can't go! It's so funny to watch."
18 Nov 2006: "Here is Sean, along with big sister Emily. They are inseparable. Sean wriggles with joy when he wakes up every morning. It just doesn't get any better than that! Needless to say, we absolutely adore him!" 11 Feb 2007: "Sean and Provo, two brothers (and absolutely identical twins!) were recently reunited in Boston. They recognized each other immediately, and played together in much the same way as they had as pups! It was an absolutely glorious reunion! When Provo went home, Sean curled up into a ball and cried and cried. He was reassured that he'd be seeing Provo again soon, as we plan to celebrate their First Birthdays together in March! It was SO beautiful seeing the brothers together again!" Sean and Provo meet again: Here is a picture of the two brothers. Sean is on the left, Provo is on the right in the first photo and the other ay around in the second.
14 Feb 2007: "Sean is absolutely the most wonderful, gentle, sweet boy in the whole world. I am so grateful for him; he has improved our lives in a thousand little ways." 03 Apr 07: The siblings reunite for their birthday party:
"We all had a wonderful time at the birthday. These should make you smile. Provo, Lizzie and Sean."
19th July 2007: "Here is a new picture of Sean. Isn't he absolutely gorgeous?!!! I cannot describe what an incredible joy he is! So many thanks to all of you!"

.jpg) Lizzie now has Potcake baby brother, Jack- see Jack's success story
"Jack…Captain Scrappy Jack Bob Howard Charlie Juan Turtle…Super Jack is his latest nick name. What a character he is. He and Lizard are the best of friends. He is scheduled to be neutered next week (august 9) and he is HUGE! His last appointment in June for his rabies and last vaccines he was 22 pounds…but I’m sure now he’s close to 40 pounds…lizard is 45 pounds so I’m figuring Jack will be twice the size of her… he is just about as tall as lizard and she has quickly had to learn he’s not the puppy any more and he can kick her butt. She was so good about being gentle when he first came home and it took her a bit to realize he wasn’t so fragile anymore…They are so cute together…yesterday they kissed for 10 minutes…licking each others lips and being all silly…and then within minutes it was biting each others heads… both the dogs love the mudkitty. Our other cat spanky just avoids them at all costs but mudkitty loves to cuddle with them and they play and it’s just really cute.
These dogs are blessing to our family. We love having them and can’t imagine life before them. Jack is still a big scaredy cat about just about everything…kids on bikes/skateboards…cars…trash barrels…basketball nets…anything along the street as we walk makes him back up and try to get home…we are working hard on convincing him that it’s all good. He went to the groomers for the first time last month and barked thru the whole bath but they said they didn’t mind and that he’ll get better. It’s lizard’s favorite thing to do(other than a walk)…take a bath...all you have to do is say the words and she smiles and wags…when we drive in that direction she gets excited. She is the best girl. She is so well behaved and stays with me at all times…we don’t need a leash for her and we can trust she will stay right with us. Jack however is a runner…in every direction he can go in…usually yelping and barking like a freak…he’s got all this whiny energy and insecurities that have made him a bit harder to train and work with…I think after he gets fixed it’ll be easier to train him…as with all male’s…damn testicles get in the way…lol…but I know I’ll just keep trying and eventually he’ll be as smart and well behaved as his sister…he does want desperately to do what ever it takes to get that cookie…funny story really…if you say cookie around jack he freaks out…goes nuts…jumping higher than I’ve ever seen any dog jump…he goes bizerk…so we started spelling c o o k i e…you know that dog knows when we spell it now…and yet he plays this dumb dog game with us…funny boy he is. We love him.
Someone told me to consider this when I was thinking of getting a dog…she said… “If you want a dog to love, get a girl dog. If you want a dog to love you, get a boy dog.”
I didn’t get it at first…but now that I have a girl dog and a boy dog I get it. I love Lizard so much…she is my girl and she knows it…she loves me and trusts me above anyone else…she’s my girl. It’s a great thing…the relationship we have…I couldn’t imagine how jack was going to fit in…and now I realize…he loves me…loves loves loves me like I’ve never seen…he worships the ground I walk on and follows me around all day long…he’s my boy and he knows it…he has so many kisses and so much love to give…it’s great….between the 2 of them I have the very best of both worlds…I guess I’m saying that having a girl dog AND a boy dog is the best…and the difference in them is so apparent and I so appreciate both them…
And I do believe I have the 2 most gorgeous dogs ever born…Lizard is so pretty…so many people say how pretty she is…and Jack…he is the handsomest boy…as he grows he’s getting handsomer and handsomer…he’s gorgeous…just gorgeous!"
